Lawsuit abuse is a threat to America’s employers and health care providers, but now it’s a threat to… dolphins?
That’s right — a Chicago woman has taken lawsuit abuse to a whole new level by suing the Brookfield Zoo for reckless Dolphins.
The Chicago Tribune reports:
Allecyn Edwards sued the Chicago Zoological Society and the zoo because she claims they “recklessly and willfully trained and encouraged the dolphins to throw water at the spectators in the stands making the floor wet and slippery.”
Here at the U.S. Chamber, we fight for common sense lawsuit reforms to help curtail silly lawsuits like this.
What do you think? Is this a frivolous lawsuit?
